Trademark Objection

Trademark Objection

Registration of trademark by approval from trademark office is the key/beginning step to start using the mark. However, due to infringement of Trademark Laws, the trademark application can be rejected if it is found to be similar to the already registered trademark or any mark that signifies a particular religion or propagation by government or its misuse to malign reputation. This process of rejecting the trademark due to any of the above reasons is called as trademark rejection. Once this objection is received, the individual should file a reply within one months time from the date of the receipt of the objection letter.

We help our clients in both the ways. We assist in filing an objection with the registrar in order to seek explanation from the party infringing our clients rights. We can also assist our clients in filing a reply after receiving objections from the office.
