Remove a Director

A director can be removed from a company for a number of reasons, but the resignation or termination must be in accordance with the terms of the Companies Act 2006. If the company is of sole nature director and that director is resigning or be removed from the company, a new director should be appointed immediately. A director may be removed by

1) Voluntary resignation

2) Removal under the articles of association

3) Removal by ordinary resolution of members

4) Removal by ordinary resolution of members
