State-claimed Air India on Thursday said that no worker will be laid off like different aircrafts in India. The aircraft, in any case, said that some "justification of recompenses" have been executed because of the troublesome budgetary conditions that were exacerbated by COVID-19.
The choice was taken after the Air India board held an audit meeting with the Ministry of Civil Aviation in regards to defense of staff cost. "There has been no decrease in the essential compensation, DA (dearness recompense) and HRA (house lease remittance) of any classification of workers. In a request on July 22, Air India said that the essential compensation and remittances connected to it like modern dearness recompense (IDA) and house lease stipend (HRA) will stay unaltered for all classifications of officials.
