Mukesh Ambani Reliance Industry in top 100 global industries

Reliance Industry of Mukesh Ambani to be at 10th position in world's top 100 companies on the Fortune Global 500 list.

It is the first time any Indian company ranked on the Fortune Global 500 list. In 2012 Reliance had broken in top 100 when it was ranked 99th but after subsequent years on 2016 slipped to 215th rank.

According to Fortune, Walmart top the list of 2020 with a revenue of USD 524 billion by three Chinese companies. Royal Dutch Shell has ranked 5th followed by Saudi oil paint Aramco at 6th position.

Other Indian firms like State bank of India (SBI) has risen 15th rank to 221st rank, Tata motors at 337th position.

There is no change in the Walmart position and other Chinese companies.
