Bank Of Baroda; take a step forward to help the ‘Corona Worriers’ for Business Correspondents financial security.
When the country facing Covid-19, Lockdown then everyone mainly think about the poorer or workers and about the financial condition, then there is one person who is ‘Corona Worriers’ doing everything to protect us or to protect our country without any hesitation. Now this time they are like god at the earth. So, there is Bank of Baroda who takes the responsibility to help them by securing their health financially and announced on Saturday that it will provide an ex-gratia payment of Rs. 10 lakh to the nominee, who lost their life due to COVID-19 and it will also provide health insurance facility of Rs. 60,000 to the active BCs. Bank of Baroda said that it will also provide the additional support in tranches to the ‘Corona Worriers’, which maintain the hygiene and safety.
In April, 2020, for each active and functional BC, provided Rs. 2,000 in the first tranche and in May, 2020 as second tranches, they will provide Rs. 1,000 for their hygiene maintenance. And further, the bank will provide Rs. 100 per working day for transportation and this will encourage their services till June 30, 2020, and the minimum transaction is 40, said by bank.
Leader’s Executive Director Vikramaditya Singh Khichi said, “The Business Correspondents are like an extended family for us and performing a very important role in our fight against COVID-19 on the economic front”.
Banks which connected to the masses of people, so it is easy for bank to take this responsibility and deliver the benefits of the financial package of government under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, pension etc.
