Lockdown 3.0 by May 4, 2020 for 2 weeks, the Government allowed for the liquor shops, Barber shops and Sales of non-essentials by e-commerce platforms.

New Delhi: - After the decision taken by the Government for Lockdown 3.0 being from May 4, 2020 for 2 weeks, then on Saturday May 2, 2020, the Ministry of Home Affairs allowed to open the Barber Shops and salons in Green and Orange Zones for the Lockdown 3.0 and also permitted to Sale of non-essential items by e-commerce platforms. These are the measures which looses as a restriction for green and orange zones on the basis of COVID-19 risk profiling, till May 17, 2020.

In Red Zones area, there e-commerce companies are allowed to sell but only the essential items like grocery, medical items etc. and Sale of liquor is also allowed in green, orange and red zone, which is not under containment area. But Barber shops and Salons are not allowed to open in the red zones because these are the services, which may become dangerous in the COVID-19 situation.

The liquor shops which are allowed for the customers in green, orange and red zones that shops are not located in any markets or malls, they standalone and there are some directions also for the shops, customers will have to maintain the social distancing, minimum Six feet between them and also ensure that only five persons are present at one time at the shop and it will apply from May 4, when the Lockdown 3.0 will begin.

In the red zones, the domestic employees or maids are allowed to work but in case any mishappening the responsibility lies with the employers.

According to the Health Ministry, on Friday there were 130 ‘Red’ Zones in the country and the maximum Red Zones in Uttar Pradesh that was 19 and followed by Maharashtra 14 in the country. The ‘Orange’ Zones was 284 and ‘Green’ Zones was 319 in the country. During the Lockdown, all the means of travel, by road (inter-state), rail, air and metro are banned across the country.

These are the activities, which are allowed at Lockdown 3.0, may put restrictions based on their assessment required to contain COVID-19.
