Huawei offers to train 2,000 students in Karnataka to enhance their skills in new technologies.

Bangaluru: Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd is a Chinese Multinational Technology Company. On Thursday, May 21, 2020, the company said that it has offered to train 2,000 diploma and engineering students in Karnataka, as considering the request by Karnataka Government to scale up its operations in the state. Now, the Huawei Company is trying to help the Karnataka state by enhance the skills in areas like artificial intelligence and other new technologies.

Huawei’s Derek Hao, President of Huawei’s Enterprise Business Group in India met Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, C.N. Ashwath Narayan and then Huawei’s Derek Hao said “As consider the request of Karnataka Government to scale up its operations in Karnataka. We are planning to train 2,000 diploma and engineering students in this year through Huawei Certificate Programmes, to enhance their skills in areas like artificial intelligence and other new technologies which will be demanding in present and future.

This is also a way to decreases the per cent of unemployed person by creating new jobs and balancing the economy of state which are became uncertain due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

Bookanakere Siddalingappa Yediyurappa, Chief Minister of Karnataka is trying to encourage investors, to set up their shops or companies in the state and infuse capital, create jobs and many more opportunity for people that would soften the blow of undeveloped economy of Karnataka. All the governments in every state are having plans related to their economy because it is affected by the COVID-19 lockdown.

B.S. Yediyurappa, Chief Minister of Karnataka already took a steps by announcing the measures like relaxing land acquisition and labour laws to attract investors to state, for managing the financial condition of state.

So, Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said “All industrial activities have started in the State and Jubilant Factory of Nanjangud, Mysuru District which was shut due to COVID-19 has been given permission to resume work”.
