Indiabulls Group, a Finance Company asks nearly 2,000 employees to resign their company.

COVID-19 became a most dangerous and most popular disease in the world, because of this many companies fires their employees or cut costs to manage their losses. Indiabulls Group of Company is a finance company to release their workforce, on Friday, May 22, 2020, it has asked nearly 2,000 employees to resign.

Indiabulls Group, which employs over 26,000 people and it has not given any specific number of employees, who have been asked to leave the company. But as calculating, if one goes by its “10-15 per cent” claim, the number could be much higher than 2,000 employees but as average, we took 2,000 employees.

On May 15, 2020, the Indiabulls Group of Company asked many of its employees to resign and the last date is May 31. And the employees have been claimed they were sacked not getting three-month notice period. Employees said “Our appointment letter mentions a notice period of three months from both parties. We had requested them to let us serve the notice period so that we can look for a new job”.

And there are some news related this resignation, those not submitting resignation letters, the company transferred them to different places which is far from recent job place.

COVID-19 pandemic became a big problem for every citizens of the country, as the same for companies, they faces many losses and even insolvency, so to manage that they are laying off their employees and then continue their businesses with less workforce.

And now, many employees also took to a micro blogging site to reveal their discontent over the drastic step taken by the Indiabulls Group.

Employee of the Company, Uday Sheth, tweeted, “Sir/madam since last two years I am the employee INDIABULLS HOUSING FINANCE LTD and yesterday (15/05/2020) suddenly I got the whatsapp call of my seniors and they forcing us to resign and 31/05/2020 will be your last day. In current situation where we get job”.
