GoAIR says, waiting for “clarity” on readiness of states and the airport for acceptance of flights.

Government gives permission and removes the restriction which was imposed during the nationwide lockdown, to resume the domestic commercial passenger flights in India from May 25.

And the government announced on last Thursday to allowing all the domestic flight services, May 25 onwards.

On Saturday May 23, GoAir planes to resume flight June 1, instead of May 25 because it is waiting for ‘clarity’ on the readiness of the respective states and their airport for “acceptance” of flights. And Airline said that it is ready and prepared to resume their safe and secure operations after the nationwide two months lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.

After receiving the clarity by the respective states about the readiness of their airports for acceptance of flights, then GoAir will open its site for booking, may be the date post the May 25 up  to May 31, as and when and where appropriate it.

GoAir said that without clarifying the readiness of the states airports on these conditions, they do not wish to inconvenience its passengers by putting or sale flights immediately post the May 25 which they may book, that will not be permitted to operate to the respective states or many have conditions for arriving passengers of which they may be unaware.

And GoAir has already been on sale for its entire network of flights commencing the June 1 and it also appreciates the initial customer response which is very positive.

GoAir airline said “GoAir filed and received approval for its modified schedule which is based on one third of its pre-COVID approved summer 2020 network. This is in line with the calibrated ramp-up capacity allocation policy outlined by the Ministry of Civil Aviation”.

GoAir airline, only want to prepare for COVID-19 and also don’t want to give inconvenience to their customers because of any insufficiency.
